Role Summary
We are seeking top-tier candidates to join our team as it strives to achieve its vision of developing innovative medications to transform the lives of patients. As a Sr. Oncology Consultant (SOC) joining our team, you will work collaboratively across the commercial organization including marketing, key customer strategy, commercial operations, and analytics. The SOC will focus work on Brain Tumor Disease State including a focus in pediatric and adult low grade Glioma (LGG).The ideal candidate will be an analytical and self-driven sales professional.
Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for sales performance against assigned sales targets in assigned territory

• Develops thoughtful territory account and business plans

• Develops strong and long-term relationships with customers in all assigned accounts

• Presents the assigned brand(s) in a professional, effective ethical and compliant manner; helping external customers understand the benefits and appropriate use of reputed company brand(s)

• Develops strong relationships within reputed company and with external partners, effectively partnering and collaborating with other commercial functions to serve the needs of customers compliantly

• Monitors operating costs consistent with territory budget guidance

• Complies with all laws, regulations, policies and SOPs that govern the conduct of reputed company activities

• Engage in effective, fair-balanced clinical dialogue with customers, utilizing approved corporate, promotional and other resources to facilitate customer engagements in an appropriate and compliant manner

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with our co-promotion partner in the territory and with all customers in assigned geography

• Prepare robust account and territory business plans, to utilize routinely in planning with other commercial team members and to guide activity

• Represent reputed company positively and professionally at company meetings, conferences and other functions

• Develop strong internal and external relationships to enable appropriate, compliant business partnerships

• Achieve or exceed sales forecasts and targets, within budget

• Understand the regulatory environment and comply with all legal, regulatory and compliance requirements

• Perform ad-hoc projects to support the business as requested

• Other duties as required or directed by the Sales Director

• This position reports to a Sales Director

Job Description

Candidate Profile

Education and Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, Scientific Degree a plus

• 5 years of strong results-oriented biotech/pharmaceutical, lab, or medical devices sales experience

• Oncology/Solid Tumor sales experience is preferred.

• Candidates must demonstrate a consistent track record of success as a top sales performer

• Complex sales model experience required

• Experience launching a new product is a plus

• Results-oriented and able to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

• Preference for academic and community hospital-based sales experience

• Preference for strong institutional and territory knowledge

• Preference for strong relationships in territory geography

Travel and Location

• This position is a remote work position with an assigned territory geography

• Applicant must live in territory

• Territory travel requirement will be an average of 60% but can vary based on residence.

• Occasional weekend travel based on needs within the territory.

Salary Range
