Job Description
A fast-growing, multi-brand beauty and personal care company is seeking a
Manager, Shopper Marketing to translate brand strategy and shopper insights into compelling retail programs that drive awareness, conversion and profitable growth.
Working across a portfolio of recognized consumer brands and leading national retailers, this individual will develop account-specific activation strategies that connect the consumer journey across stores, ecommerce, retail media and emerging commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute shopper-marketing strategies for priority retail accounts, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, retailer priorities and commercial goals.
- Translate consumer, shopper, category and retailer insights into differentiated activation plans.
- Build integrated programs across in-store, ecommerce, digital shelf, retail media, sampling, promotions and seasonal events.
- Partner closely with Sales and Brand Marketing to develop account-specific programs that strengthen retailer relationships and accelerate growth.
- Lead the shopper-marketing calendar, coordinating launches, promotional periods and retailer-specific initiatives.
- Create persuasive, insight-led materials for retailer meetings, line reviews, joint business planning and internal presentations.
- Collaborate with Creative and agency partners to develop high-impact assets that remain consistent with brand identity while meeting retailer requirements.
- Manage program budgets, timelines, agency relationships and executional details across multiple brands and accounts.
- Establish clear performance measures and evaluate program effectiveness using sales, media, shopper and promotional data.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion, household penetration, basket size and return on marketing investment.
- Monitor evolving shopper behaviors, competitive activity, retail-media capabilities and beauty-industry trends.
- Bring structure, consistency and best practices to a growing shopper-marketing capability.
Qualifications
- Approximately 5–7 years of experience in shopper marketing, customer marketing, commerce marketing, retail activation or a closely related discipline.
- Experience within beauty, personal care, wellness, CPG or another consumer-focused category strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success developing integrated retailer programs across physical and digital channels.
- Strong understanding of the path to purchase, retail media, ecommerce and account-specific activation.
- Experience working with major national retailers; exposure to beauty, mass, drug, specialty or ecommerce channels is particularly relevant.
- Ability to turn data and insights into clear strategies, compelling stories and executable programs.
- Strong commercial instincts and an appreciation for the needs of both brands and retail partners.
- Highly collaborative style with the ability to influence across Sales, Marketing, Creative, Finance and external agencies.
- Excellent project-management, presentation and communication skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple brands, retailers and deadlines in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
