Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license, with all necessary state credentials to practice in California

• Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly valued

• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that encourage student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs and provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions within the school setting

• Develop and update individualized education program (IEP) goals, progress reports, and documentation in accordance with school district guidelines

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and families, to support student access to curriculum and school activities

• Provide training and guidance to staff on mobility, positioning, and adaptive equipment as needed

• Participate in meetings, consultations, and parent conferences to communicate student progress and advocate for resources

• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to school-based therapy services
