RN – Gynecology Oncology Clinic

• Provide direct patient care as a Clinic RN
• Coordinate care for patients and triage patients
• Collaborate with clinic providers, fellows, and staff
• Work with patient referral sources
• Facilitate appointments and coordinate transitions of care
• Provide patient education on complex conditions
• Develop and implement individual health plans with patients, families, and care providers
• Collect and document patient assessment data
• Develop patients' Plans of Care
• Evaluate patient progress toward desired outcomes
• Administer medication according to department standards and the Nurse Practice Act
• Verify and evaluate care for consistency with patient- and family-centered care principles, practice standards, and regulatory requirements
• Support integration of current evidence into nursing practices
• Promote a positive educational environment for students and staff
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning
• Collaborate and communicate with nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and other stakeholders
• Document care in the medical record
• Report variances in care, systems, and processes
• Participate in staff recruitment and retention
• Facilitate development and implementation of evidence‑based nursing practice standards compliant with ANA standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Associate’s degree in Nursing, Diploma RN, or Master’s degree in Nursing
• Must be a graduate of an accredited RN nursing program
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nursing experience
• Valid Registered Nursing License
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong work ethics and accountability
• Basic computer skills
• Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
• Annual TB Screening, Criminal Background Check, Substance Abuse Testing
• Required documents: License or Certificate, list of three professional references, and resume
