Hospice RN Clinical Liaison
Location: Boston, MA (territory includes Boston and the South Shore)
Compensation: $105,000 to $120,000 per year
A hospice provider serving the Greater Boston and South Shore market is hiring a Hospice RN Clinical Liaison to grow and manage referral relationships across the assigned territory. This field-based role partners with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, skilled nursing facilities, and senior living communities to build hospice census and support smooth transitions into care. The ideal candidate combines clinical hospice knowledge with established local referral relationships and a track record of consistent account growth.
Schedule
Field-based, on-site position covering the Boston and South Shore territory, with regular travel to referral partners throughout the market.
Compensation
$105,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience.
What You'll Do
The Hospice RN Clinical Liaison develops, expands, and maintains referral-source relationships across the Boston and South Shore market, representing hospice services professionally with referral partners, patients, families, and community organizations. The role uses clinical nursing knowledge to educate referral sources, patients, and families on hospice eligibility, services, and transition planning, while identifying new referral opportunities and strengthening existing accounts through consistent field activity. The liaison works closely with internal clinical and operations teams to support appropriate referrals and ensure smooth transitions into hospice care.
Required Qualifications
• Current, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license (or multi-state compact license)
• Minimum one year of healthcare sales, marketing, liaison, or referral-development experience
• Established referral-source relationships within the Boston and South Shore healthcare market
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field
Preferred Qualifications
• Two or more years of healthcare sales, marketing, or liaison experience
• Hospice and/or home health clinical liaison, hospice admissions, or referral-development experience
• Hospice or palliative care marketing/liaison experience
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification
• Familiarity with CRM or contact management software
