Job Description
The RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician provides specialized care in oncology infusion therapy, including administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and hazardous drugs in outpatient settings.
They demonstrate clinical expertise, adhere to safety standards, and address the biological, emotional, and educational needs of patients and their families.
Key responsibilities include performing the nursing process, delivering patient-centered care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
They serve as a resource, support performance improvement initiatives, and actively participate in ongoing professional development, including maintaining oncology certifications and continuing education.
Qualifications require an Associate's or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), current licensure, and relevant certifications.
