Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in Adult Oncology!
If you are passionate about providing compassionate care to adult oncology patients, we want to hear from you! We have immediate hiring opportunities in our Adult Oncology unit for both Day and Night shifts. Whether you're looking for Full Time or Part Time positions, we offer flexibility to fit your schedule.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to serve patients undergoing chemotherapy, stem cell transplants, and radiation therapy. Our unit is part of New Mexico's only NCI designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, one of only 51 in the United States, where we are also involved in vital research aimed at improving cancer treatments.
What We Offer:
• Competitive shift differentials: 17% for Weekday Nights, 26% for Weekend Nights, and 15% for Weekend Day shifts.

Essential Functions:
• Deliver safe and direct nursing care to assigned patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans.
• Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent is obtained.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment and uphold safety standards.
• Administer medications accurately and document clinical findings.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN License in New Mexico (or eligibility based on reciprocal agreement).
• CPR Certification for Healthcare Providers or for Professional Rescuers (must be obtained within 30 days).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or in Native American languages.
• National certification in area of specialty.
Working Conditions:
This role involves handling hazardous materials and may require protective equipment due to exposure to chemicals. Physical demands include lifting 50-100 pounds occasionally.
