Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Oncology Days

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care on the Oncology Medsurg Unit, collaborating within an interdisciplinary team to ensure individualized treatment and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practices. Partner with patients and families, ensuring cultural sensitivity and effective communication. Coordinate care, document accurately, and promote a respectful, inclusive environment. Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and uphold system policies and standards. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, and contribute to protocol development and resource management.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires an Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree, valid RN license (single-state or multi-state), and BLS certification. Less than one year of clinical experience is preferred, with strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills essential. Must adhere to professional standards, legal, and regulatory requirements.
