Registered Nurse - Oncology Infusion - Full Time

Role: Registered Nurse, Infusion Clinic

Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care by developing and evaluating patient care plans.
Assess patient health data, communicate plans with patients and interdisciplinary teams, and document findings.
Individualize patient education on disease management, emergency care, and medication use.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, delegate tasks, and support peer development.
Assist with technical procedures like injections, IV management, and oxygen therapy.
Participate in quality improvement, research, and stay updated on clinical practices.
Monitor wound, ostomy, and skin care treatments if qualified, and provide psychological support to patients.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required).
Minimum of 1 year RN experience, with oncology/infusion experience preferred.
Current Illinois RN license and BLS/CPR certification (required).
OCN/ONS certification or willingness to obtain it (required).
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and compassionate care skills.
