Registered Nurse - Oncology - Full-Time - Nights

Role: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. Coordinates patient care across departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities: Administers personalized care in a high-energy, 36-bed Orthopedic Unit specializing in spinal surgery and medical patients. Focuses on teamwork, dedication, and advancing toward becoming a Center of Excellence. Manages a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, supports a specialized spine program, and participates in personalized orientation for postoperative spine care.

Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold an active RN license, and meet state requirements. Physical demands include lifting and prolonged standing. Certifications required include ACLS and BLS, with other certifications acquired within the department as needed.
