Job Description
This role is for a Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant providing outpatient care in a busy clinical setting.
Responsibilities include managing complex oncology cases, conducting treatment visits, follow-ups, and new patient assessments, with a full patient panel requiring care coordination.
The position requires certification in Basic Life Support and Board Certification, as well as licensure in Louisiana or through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
The provider will use Epic electronic medical records and work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Key duties: managing hematology/oncology patients, providing comprehensive care, and collaborating with a healthcare team.
Qualifications: relevant certifications, licensure, and experience with complex oncology cases.
