As a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology, you have the chance to make a real difference in patient care. Role Overview:
In this role, you will provide exceptional, patient-focused care in alignment with the standards and practices of the department. Working closely with the medical team, you'll offer personalized and compassionate care while adhering to established nursing models such as 'Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.' You'll be an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization's mission to ensure outstanding patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and monitor the patient's condition during admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status.
• Administer treatments, procedures, and medications as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all care activities.
• Deliver immediate and proactive responses to patient needs, enhancing their experience and comfort.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications, simplifying complex information to ensure understanding.
Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate, Bachelor, or Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support within the first 30 days of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• No travel required.
