Job Description
Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in a hospital setting, providing holistic, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to nursing standards.
• Perform accurate patient assessments and maintain compliant documentation.
• Support patient transitions through effective hand-offs and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans.
• Promote quality care and ensure unit safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with relevant experience.
• Current Montana RN license and BLS certification; medical-surgical or geriatric nursing certification preferred.
• Specialty knowledge in orthopedics and spine care, including anatomy, pain management, mobility, DVT prevention, and complication management.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules, equipment, and department needs; committed to patient advocacy and positive outcomes.
Additional Requirements
• Participation in continuing education related to orthopedics and spine care.
• Availability for 12-hour day or night shifts.
