Job Description
• Position: Travel Radiation Therapist
• Duration: 12 Weeks
• Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Unit Profile
• Location: Kansas City, MO
• Unit Name: Radiation Oncology
• Number of Beds: 490
• Staffing:
• 4 Radiation Therapists (RTTs)
• 2 Radiation Oncology Registered Nurses (RNs)

Equipment
• Truebeam Linac
• iX

Documentation Systems
• Mosaiq
• Meditech

Scheduling Requirements
• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts only

Professional Skills Required
• 4+ years of Radiation Therapy experience
• Experience with Truebeam preferred
• Familiarity with OSMS preferred

Key Procedures Performed
• VMAT (Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy)
• 3D Treatments
• SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery)
• SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)
• Emergency treatments for conditions such as:
• SVC Syndrome
• Heterotopic Bone
• Whole Brain Treatment
• Spinal Cord Compression

Certifications Required
• ARRT Board Certified
• BCLS Certified

Dress Code
• Grey or charcoal grey scrubs
