Job Summary and Highlights
In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the department's standards and the best practices for radiation oncology. Collaborating closely with medical professionals and the entire care team, you will ensure personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care while advocating for patients and their families.
Your Responsibilities Include:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions at admission and during scheduled shifts, quickly identifying and addressing any changes in their health status.
• Perform medical procedures and monitoring as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring precise and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic responses, taking swift action in the event of side effects or adverse reactions.
• Provide outstanding patient care by responding quickly to requests and proactively anticipating needs while educating patients, families, and caregivers about treatment plans and potential side effects.
Qualifications Needed:
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Registered Nurse Diploma.
