Join Our Dynamic Team as a Radiotherapy Therapist
Job Description:
• Exciting opportunity for two 13-week Radiotherapy Technologists to support our Radiation Oncology department.
• Work full-time in a vibrant environment:
• Schedule: 5 x 8 hours (Monday through Friday)
• Day Shift: Start between 0700 - 0800
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a skilled team to:
• Properly set up and align patients using various imaging techniques for radiation therapy treatments.
• Assess patient status during direct interactions and refer to appropriate healthcare team members.
• Prepare for treatment delivery, including:
• Chart/film checks
• Room setup
• Calculations
• Electronic Medical Record (MOSAIQ) checks
• Treatment calendar programming (including port films, etc.)
• Perform patient setup and CT scans for radiation therapy planning as needed.
• Work closely with radiation therapists and team members to handle additional tasks.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience.
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred.
• Must possess ARRT and CA RTT license, along with BLS certification.
