Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 4x10, rotating days of the week. No call or weekends.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides high-quality Nuclear Medicine data to the interpreting physician in accordance with departmental procedures and applicable State and Federal regulations. The role involves delivering Nuclear Medicine services to patients across various age groups, including Neonatal, Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Nuclear Medicine services while ensuring patient comfort and meeting their physical, sensory, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.

• Collaborate with physicians and nursing personnel on patient scheduling, preparation, and examination selection.

• Utilize state-of-the-art scintillation cameras and computer systems to produce high-quality Nuclear Medicine studies.

• Perform minor clerical duties and assist in ordering radiopharmaceuticals or arranging repairs in the absence of a supervisor.

• Participate in departmental quality assurance activities and maintain compliance with safety standards.

• Assist in training and onboarding new staff as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required.

• Prior travel experience is required.

• Must possess a valid NV State License and either AART or RCIS certification.

• BLS certification (AHA) is required.
