Pay Rate: $85/hr ($3,400/Week)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to provide radiation therapy services in an Oncology Department and operate radiation therapy equipment and related systems.
Required Qualifications
• New York Radiation Therapist License in hand.

• Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience.

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.

• ARRT registration.

• Current BCLS certification.

• Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

• Experience with Varian TrueBeam, IX, and ARIA software.

• Must maintain required state and federal licenses and registrations.

• Specific Radiology experience and training preferred.

Responsibilities
• Provide radiation therapy services within the Oncology Department.

• Operate radiation therapy equipment and related systems.

• Utilize Varian TrueBeam, IX, and ARIA software.

• Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology during patient care.

• Follow applicable clinical, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain required professional licenses, registrations, and certifications.

• Perform other radiation therapy-related duties as assigned.
