Role Overview

Perform daily imaging and deliver prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to patients safely and accurately. The therapist utilizes technical knowledge of equipment, clinical treatment setup, anatomical landmarks, and treatment recording to ensure effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare staff. Ensure precise delivery of radiation doses, maintain patient safety, and document care in treatment records. Uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Develop understanding of patients' physical and emotional needs to support holistic care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• For specific regions, licensure through relevant state boards is required.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations and adapt to growth and development needs.
