Summary Of The Role

This position is for an experienced Medical Doctor (MD) providing outpatient hematology and oncology care at a cancer center within a hospital setting. The clinician will work four 10-hour days, managing a patient load of approximately 15 patients per day, with a focus on 60% hematology and 40% oncology cases. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive patient management, documenting care using Meditech and Aria EMRs, and maintaining prescriptive authority. The role requires managing 1:2 call coverage, handling 2-3 calls per week remotely from emergency or hospitalist physicians. A board certification is required. The support team includes oncologists, an advanced practice provider, nurses, radiation oncologists, and social workers. The position offers a focus on adult patient care within a collaborative, on-site environment.
