• Educate patients regarding treatment processes and therapy expectations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient treatment records.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Perform quality assurance procedures on radiation treatment equipment.
• Observe patients for treatment reactions and report concerns to healthcare providers.
• Support patient comfort and emotional well-being throughout treatment.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Assist in workflow improvements and departmental quality initiatives.
Education:
• Associates Other or Accredited Program Other
Certifications:
• ARRT-T - ARRT Radiation Therapy
• BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years Experience in Radiation Therapy Preferred must be graduate of accredited radiation therapy program
