Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Research Associate to support an In Vivo Discovery research team focused on developing innovative approaches for cancer research. The role involves performing hands-on laboratory experiments, analyzing experimental data, maintaining accurate documentation, and working closely with scientists in a collaborative laboratory environment.





Key Responsibilities


- Perform routine to moderately complex laboratory experiments following established protocols.
- Support molecular biology and cell/bacterial-based laboratory activities.
- Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and electronic lab notebooks using
Benchling.
- Troubleshoot basic experimental issues and communicate results to the research team.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and good laboratory practices.
- Learn and apply new laboratory techniques and instrumentation as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with scientists and other research team members.






Required Qualifications


- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related Life Science field.
- 0–2 years of hands-on laboratory research experience, including academic, internship, or co-op experience.
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques.
- Experience with bacterial culture and bacterial transformation.
- Ability to follow protocols accurately and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Experience with basic data analysis and documentation.
- Experience with plasmid cloning, amplification, and analysis.
- Experience using Benchling, GraphPad Prism, or similar laboratory/data-analysis tools.
- Previous experience in an academic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or research laboratory.
