Postdoctoral Positions in T-Cell Immunology

The laboratories of Nevil J. Singh and Tim Luetkens at the University of Maryland School of Medicine invite applications for postdoctoral research positions focused on understanding and engineering T-cell signaling pathways. These projects are best suited to candidates who are strongly motivated to develop new conceptual frameworks in basic immunology and apply them to therapeutic cellular-engineering strategies for autoimmunity and tumor immunotherapy. Qualifications


A doctoral degree in immunology or a related biomedical field, completed or expected to be completed before the position begins. Candidates with strong training in cell and molecular biology, with a keen interest in developing scholarship in immunology during their postdoctoral research, are encouraged to apply. Experience with techniques such as multiparameter flow cytometry, genetic engineering of mouse & human T cells, recombinant protein expression & purification, transcriptomics, and bioinformatic analyses would be advantageous but is not required.
