Job Title: Manufacturing Specialist – Cell Therapy
Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Hours: 40 Hours/Week | 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday OR Wednesday–Saturday
Status: Accepting Candidates – Multiple Openings
About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Specialist – Cell Therapy to support the production of clinical cell therapy products within a controlled cGMP manufacturing environment. This role will focus on aseptic processing, cleanroom operations, raw material preparation, and accurate manufacturing documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Support manufacturing activities for clinical cell therapy products.
• Perform aseptic processing activities in a controlled cleanroom environment.
• Prepare, transfer, and stage raw materials and manufacturing components.
• Execute and maintain accurate batch records and manufacturing documentation.
• Follow approved SOPs, GMP procedures, and safety requirements.
• Demonstrate proper aseptic technique and cleanroom practices.
• Identify and report deviations or manufacturing issues in a timely manner.
• Support technology transfer and process development activities as needed.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Process Development teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing workspace.
Qualifications
• 2–4 years of hands-on manufacturing experience, ideally in biotech, biopharma, or cell therapy settings.
• Practical experience performing aseptic manufacturing or aseptic techniques.
• Working knowledge of cGMP practices and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience operating within cleanroom environments, including proper gowning and material handling.
• Ability to accurately complete batch records, SOPs, and other GMP-related documentation.
• Strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and following established manufacturing procedures.
• Capable of safely lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working a night/overnight shift and following the assigned schedule.
Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):
• Estimated hourly range: $40–$47/hr (W-2).
• Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
