Job Description
Radiation Oncologist Position
West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Radiation Oncology seek a Radiation Oncologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the Northern Region of West Virginia (multiple locations).
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Radiation/Oncology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidates must have completed a Radiation/Oncology residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in Radiation/Oncology. All qualifications must be met by the time of the appointment.
Coverage includes the Northern Region sites:
• Wheeling Hospital
• Berkley Medical Center
• Ruby Memorial Hospital (MBRCC)
• Fairmont Medical Center
• United Hospital Center
