Quick Facts Location: Detroit, MI Start Date: 09/19/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing/As discussed Shift: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM EST (Remote) Hours/week: 7+ shifts/month (with options for 1-3 weeks of coverage per month) Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: Active state medical license, DEA waiver, BLS (not required for remote) Experience: Prior diagnostic radiology or nuclear medicine experience required Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursable expenses when applicable 24/7 dedicated team supporting your success Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws What You ll Do Conduct remote diagnostic radiology/Nuclear Medicine readings during overnight shifts Review approximately 80-130 mixed ED cases per shift Collaborate with residents during overnight teaching sessions Submit case logs along with weekly reports Follow all departmental protocols and maintain high-quality standards Ensure accurate documentation and timely report turnaround What You Need Valid medical license in Michigan or eligible for licensing DEA waiver (will be required for this role) Prior diagnostic radiology or nuclear medicine experience Ability to work independently in a remote setting Strong communication skills and attention to detail About the Assignment This position involves overnight coverage at a busy emergency department with a small team of residents and a single radiologist on duty. The role emphasizes remote interpretative work, case review, and resident education, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostics. All candidates must submit a clean malpractice report, a recent NPDB report (pulled within the last 30 days), and case logs with their application.
