Hematology/Oncology Physician – Lewisburg, PA

• Shift: Day shift, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Hours/Week: 40 hours
• Employment Type: Full-time contract
• License/Certs: PA license or IMLC LOQ required; DEA required
• Experience: BC or BE in Oncology; previous hematology/oncology clinical experience
Pay & Benefits:
• Hourly Rate: $498.86/hour

What You’ll Do:
• Provide expert hematology and oncology care for adult patients (18+) in a community-based practice setting
• Support and collaborate with support staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and navigators, in a new practice opening soon
• Visit hospital for inpatient consults as needed within a hospital-based clinic
• Manage approximately 10 patients per day, with patient volume expected to grow
• Use EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
• Participate in scheduled weekday hours and weeknight/weekend call coverage (1:2, 60/40 split)
What You Need:
• PA medical license or IMLC LOQ
• BC or BE in Oncology
• Valid DEA registration
• Prior experience in community-based hematology/oncology preferred
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
About the Assignment:
This role is at a thriving, new medical oncology and hematology practice located inside a hospital with 131 beds in Lewisburg, PA. You will be instrumental in establishing and growing this community-centered practice, contributing to patient care excellence from the outset of the facility's opening in September 2026. Responsibilities include outpatient oncology and hematology care, with inpatient consults as needed, utilizing EPIC EMR.
