Physician - Hematology / Oncology

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology and the WVU Cancer Institute are seeking a Physician – Hematology/Oncology qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Glen Dale, West Virginia. The candidate may also be assigned to provide services at other worksites, including West Virginia University Hospitals, Inc., West Virginia University Medical Corporation, and other locations in West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Travel is anticipated and expected to fulfill duties at these other worksites.

Duties
• Practice in the areas of hematology/oncology.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Enroll patients in clinical and translational research; develop disease-focused clinical and translational research within the faculty member's area of focus.

Qualifications
• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, and eligibility for state medical licensure.
• Completed an accredited internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology or oncology fellowship.
• Board certified/eligible in oncology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
