Job Description
The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medical Oncology are seeking a Malignant Hematologist to join their team in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to practice in Hematology/Oncology within the WVU Cancer Institute at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center, contributing to a multidisciplinary team focused on advanced cancer care. The successful candidate will have the chance to shape program growth and engage in academic, clinical, and translational initiatives.
Practice Info
• Practice in Morgantown, West Virginia, with potential assignments at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
• Join the WVU Cancer Institute at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team focused on the diagnosis and treatment of leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma, and related disorders.
• Access to autologous and allogeneic transplant, CAR-T therapy, and clinical trials.
• Opportunity to shape program growth and contribute to academic, clinical, and translational initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Practice in the areas of Hematology/Oncology.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Shift & Schedule
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Requirements
• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for state medical license.
• Completed an Internal Medicine Residency program.
• Completed a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program.
• Board certified / eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
