Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - West Springfield, Massachusetts

Embark on a fulfilling contract assignment as a Physical Therapist Assistant supporting elementary students in a welcoming school environment near West Springfield, MA. This onsite role runs from ASAP through June 21st, 2027, guaranteeing six hours of work per week. Youll play an important part in delivering quality therapy services that help young learners thrive and succeed.

Ideal candidates bring professional experience working as a PTA in educational and healthcare settings, and are comfortable working with elementary-aged children. Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Massachusetts PTA license (required)

• Background in providing pediatric therapy within school or healthcare environments preferred

• Familiarity with elementary school settings and age-appropriate interventions

• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, therapists, and administrators

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions and support designed by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Support individualized education plans (IEPs) to help students reach developmental and functional goals

• Document sessions and student progress accurately and promptly

• Communicate effectively with caregivers, teachers, and related professionals

• Contribute to a positive, outcome-focused environment and engage with ongoing professional learning
