Physical Therapist Assistant in West Springfield, MA

This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) available for an immediate backfill, covering the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year with a schedule of 6 hours per week. Key Qualifications:

• Current, active licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Massachusetts

• Experience delivering PTA services within a school setting (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with all state and district-level guidelines

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to integrate therapy into students’ educational plans

• Attend meetings as needed and communicate student progress to the supervising PT and educational stakeholders
