Job Summary
Provides personalized physical therapy treatment for patients across all age groups, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote health and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
• Conducts patient assessments, develops, implements, and adjusts individualized treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals, respecting cultural diversity.
• Maintains departmental policies, safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentors and trains students and staff, fostering professional growth and department cohesion.
• Participates in evidence-based practices, professional development, and peer reviews.
• Prepares documentation, assists with discharge planning, and recommends adaptive equipment to maximize patient function.
• Identifies stressors, develops coping strategies, and promotes a positive team environment.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent and Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Licensed Physical Therapist and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 90 days).
