Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician to provide specialized outpatient infusion care, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies for malignant and nonmalignant conditions.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices.
• Administer hazardous drugs safely while ensuring age-appropriate and culturally sensitive patient care.
• Partner with patients and families to address biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and preceptor to nursing staff and colleagues.
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, quality improvement, and research activities to promote safe, high-quality care.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, practice standards, and organizational policies, including chemotherapy competence requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, develop protocols, and optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications And Skills
• Current valid nursing license per Georgia law.
• Knowledge of oncology infusion therapy, including chemotherapy and targeted treatments.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, including specialty certification and continuing education credits.
• Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations and complex clinical situations.
This role requires local travel and flexibility to float between sites as needed, supporting a culture of compassion, excellence, and system-wide patient safety.
