Personal Injury Case Manager

This role supports a Plaintiff Personal Injury practice and manages approximately 30 active cases while supporting two attorneys in a growing department. The ideal candidate has experience in both pre-litigation and litigation, excels at client communication, and is highly organized.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication and monitoring treatment progress.
- Manage cases from intake through settlement, ensuring deadlines and case milestones are met.
- Draft and coordinate demand packages and support settlement negotiations.
- Conduct lien negotiations with medical providers, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and health insurers to maximize client recovery.
- Track insurance claims, policy limits, adjusters, and coverage types (liability, UM/UIM, MedPay, health insurance).
- Coordinate property damage claims, vehicle repairs, depositions, mediations, hearings, and medical examinations.
- Monitor statutes of limitations, settlement deadlines, and litigation-related court deadlines.
- Prepare settlement statements outlining costs, expenses, liens, and net recovery to clients.
- Maintain accurate case records and provide status updates during team meetings.


Ideal Candidate

- Experience supporting personal injury cases in both pre-litigation and litigation phases.
- Strong client-facing communication skills and professionalism.
- Proven experience with lien negotiations.
- Excellent organizational and case management abilities.
- Spanish language skills are preferred but not required.
