Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist Outpatient

Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive pediatric hematology and oncology care in outpatient satellite clinics, with inpatient responsibilities at the main hospital. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, teamwork, and program development in a growing, academically engaged division.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient care, diagnose and manage hematologic and oncologic conditions, and provide survivorship and supportive care.
• Participate in inpatient services approximately 6-8 weeks annually.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage in quality improvement initiatives.
• Support medical education, supervise trainees, and contribute to research and division growth.
• Ensure patient safety, satisfaction, and adherence to evidence-based practices.

Qualifications And Skills

• MD or DO degree; board-certified or eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
• Eligible for licensure in the relevant state.
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to perform after-hours responsibilities if needed.
