Job Description
The Department of Pathology at the University of Louisville is seeking two full-time academic anatomic pathologists to join their growing team. This role offers flexibility in scheduling, with positions available from 0.8 to 1.0 FTE, and academic rank will be determined by experience and qualifications. The successful candidates will contribute to the academic mission, engage in scholarly activities, and participate in medical education.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements
• MD, DO, or equivalent
• Board-certified in anatomic or combined anatomic and clinical pathology
• Qualified for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
• Fellowship training or a strong and proven interest in one or more of the following practice areas: medical renal, thoracic/lung, gynecologic, head and neck pathology, cytopathology, dermatopathology
• Prior work experience in an academic setting is desirable
• A track record of educational achievements and publications demonstrating clinical and scientific accomplishments is also desirable
• Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Pathology in Clinical Pathology
• ACLS/BLS Certification
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills
• H-1B visa sponsorship available
