Job Description

In this pivotal role, you will oversee budgets, staffing, workflow optimization, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with physicians, nursing, and ancillary teams to expand services and improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Direct the daily operations of the Cancer Center, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
• Develop and manage budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation for oncology services, driving sustainability and efficiency.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, policies, and procedures.
• Enhance quality, patient experience, and access initiatives by leveraging data and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and support teams to optimize workflows and care coordination.
• Lead strategic planning and foster growth within oncology programs.
• Implement process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean or similar methodologies to maximize operational efficiency.
• Recruit, mentor, and cultivate leaders and staff, nurturing a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Oversee the implementation and optimization of EHR and operational systems within the Cancer Center.
• Champion Adventist Health's faith-based mission, values, and community outreach efforts.

Essential Skills
• Expertise in healthcare operations management.
• Experience in oncology service line management.
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, CMS).
• Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Data analysis and strong performance metrics interpretation skills.
• Strategic planning and execution experience.
• Ability to lead and develop staff effectively.
