Shift Detail: 7:00am - 7:30pm every third weekend

POSITION SUMMARY:

As an Oncology Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
• Communicating with the healthcare team about changes in patient condition or treatment responses.
• Applying knowledge of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care.
• Promoting the nursing profession through collegial support and effective interactions.

This position reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure in Connecticut.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire or within the introductory orientation period, while maintaining clinical competency throughout employment.

COMPETENCIES:
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer proficiency.
