Provides clinical support to all providers, the clinical staff and patients of the Oncology Service line.
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, obtain vital signs, and assess lab results for all patients.
Perform checks on treatment orders and medications, collaborating with a second RN or pharmacy for verification.
Monitor for adverse effects or infusion-related reactions, responding appropriately, and managing side effects while providing education on proper self-care during treatment.
Associates of applied science of nursing from accredited institution
NYS Registered Nurse licensure
Preferred Skills and Experience: Minimum of 1-year med/surg nursing experience.
use of computer keyboard); including boxes, equipment, unit-dose cassettes, and IV solutions and stooping and kneeling (e.g., to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on lower shelves, and to file documents in lower file drawers); must be able physically to operate the equipment used for the job.
Location and Travel Requirements: Pay Range Disclosure: $38.63 to 47.18 per hour
