Job Description
Role: RN, Oncology Float Pool nurse
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, evidence-based care across multiple oncology units
Perform specialized assessments and administer chemotherapy
Manage symptoms and educate patients and families
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Float to designated oncology areas based on patient acuity and staffing needs
Maintain consistent, patient-centered care in a dynamic environment
Qualifications & Skills
Current nursing license and relevant clinical experience in oncology
Strong assessment, medication administration, and patient education skills
Ability to adapt to different units and patient needs
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to ongoing professional development and oncology education
