About the Role:
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by coordinating all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. Collaborating closely with the management team, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in line with established policies/procedures, serving as a resource for staff, and modeling our commitment to delivering unparalleled patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
Your Responsibilities Include:
• Facilitating efficient admission and discharge processes to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Participating in the continuous assessment of the quality of services provided in the unit.
• Collaborating with various experts and managers to foster teamwork and enhance outcomes.
• Embracing a patient-first philosophy and engaging in service recovery when necessary.
• Supporting staff engagement initiatives through employee rounding and other nursing strategies.
• Contributing to staff recruitment by recommending new hires, training, and development efforts.
• Managing staff scheduling in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Overseeing inventory control and assisting with supply and equipment management.
What You Will Need:
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice or an active compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required within 30 days of starting your employment.
