Position Summary and Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is dedicated to ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care while overseeing all functions in the unit during your shift. You will collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care according to established standards. This role requires modeling our organization's vision and values to support top-notch patient experiences and outcomes that enhance departmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes to optimize patient care.
• Engage in the continuous assessment of care quality, partnering with management team members.
• Foster a collaborative environment that focuses on teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Champion a patient-first philosophy and act in service recovery when necessary.
• Implement initiatives to enhance staff engagement and patient care services.
• Participate in recruitment, training, and evaluation processes for new staff to build a skilled team.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management in alignment with patient care needs.
• Oversee inventory control and manage supplies and equipment efficiently.
Qualifications Needed:
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the applicable state or an active compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
