Location: 183 N Mountain Rd New Britain (10318)
Shift: 4-8 hour shifts, Monday-Friday

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our outpatient Infusion Centers, you will deliver holistic, quality nursing care to patients and their families. Your role will involve:
• Performing thorough patient assessments and implementing effective symptom management strategies.
• Administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, infusions, injections, and transfusions safely and competently.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care throughout treatment and follow-up.
• Coordinating patient scheduling for infusion visits in collaboration with provider offices.
• Triage patients using established pathways and collaborate with physicians for symptom management and referrals.
• Managing a caseload of patients receiving diverse infusion and oral therapies in an outpatient setting.
• Maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Engaging in continuous professional development and contributing to safety initiatives.
• Participating in clinical support programs to enhance care across the healthcare continuum.
Minimum Requirements:
• Current Connecticut RN License
• Current OCN Chemotherapy/Biotherapy card (or willingness to obtain within first month of hire)
Education: BSN strongly preferred
Experience: Two (2) years of previous Oncology Nursing experience strongly preferred
