Oncology Infusion Nurse

Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties


- Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy drugs using optimal techniques per chemotherapy treatment guidelines and procedure.
- Participate in initial and ongoing patient education regarding all aspects of chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
- Schedule patient appointments for treatments following guidelines
- Follows all safety and OSHA guidelines.
- Maintains Chemotherapy & Biotherapy certification without lapse
- Participates in the OCM pilot as required


Qualifications and Skills


- Current IL State License In Good standing.
- Vaccinations up to date
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and move freely around to assist patients.
- Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing.
- Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Certification from the Oncology Nursing Society
- BSN preferred, not required.
- Current CPR

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
