Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential therapy services onsite at school campuses in the Menifee, CA area. This contract opportunity is available immediately and extends likely through the end of the school year (6/4/2027) to cover a leave.
Depending on your experience and licensure, your duties will vary:
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in California
• Previous pediatric or school-based therapy experience preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Flexibility to collaborate and adapt to evolving student needs
Key Responsibilities:
For COTAs:
• Support approximately 80 students across two elementary schools
• Provide direct therapy services under OT supervision
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure students’ IEP goals are met
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
For OTs:
• Deliver therapy to a caseload of approximately 80 students
• Oversee and supervise a COTA at one site
• Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapy into the classroom
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal Special Education requirements
