This is the largest provider of oncology services in Eastern North Carolina, operating as part of a nine-hospital cancer care network that includes a four-hospital ACoS-CoC Integrated Network Cancer Program, an ACoS-CoC Community Cancer Program, and two NAPBC accredited breast centers. The established regional oncology practices feature infusion suites, patient exam rooms, and a team of experienced providers, nurses, and nurse navigators, supported by a multidisciplinary team of medical, radiation, and surgical oncology experts.

Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology

Job Details:

• Provide 100% outpatient clinical care across Edenton and Ahoskie, NC locations
• Applicants with 2 years of oncology experience are preferred
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00am - 4:30pm with no call requirements
• Clinical responsibilities include seeing patients in an ambulatory setting for follow-ups, survivorship visits, symptom management, medication refills, and chemotherapy oversight
• Provider will be supported with both regional and telemedicine oncology oversight
• Participation in tumor board conferences
• Support from a multidisciplinary team including medical, radiation, and surgical oncology experts
• Join an established regional practice with experienced support staff including nurses and nurse navigators
