Facility:
This is a community-based cancer center that provides comprehensive hematology and oncology services to the surrounding region. The facility is well-staffed with a collaborative team of physicians and nurse practitioners, and features 18 chemotherapy infusion chairs, 2 non-chemo infusion chairs, and on-site radiation oncology services, with the ability to perform bone marrow biopsies directly within the center.
Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology
Job Details:
• Coverage needed starting December 2026 on an ongoing basis; full time preferred, but 2-3 weeks per month will be considered
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch; overtime applies after a 9-hour workday
• Shared call nights and weekends required
• 15 patient encounters per shift, serving both ambulatory and hospital consult patients
• Providers will manage most hematology and oncology patients within a community-based cancer center setting
• Bone marrow biopsies required and can be performed on-site within the Cancer Center
• Board certification required with ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• Provider must utilize real-time Mobile Time Clock, preferably GPS, as required by facility
• Nearest airports are Eau Claire Regional Airport or Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
