Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) | Rochester, Illinois

Schedule:

• Five 8-hour shifts per week (5x8s)

• 12-week contract assignment

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT or NMTCB)

• Current BLS certification

• Proven skills in operating imaging systems and conducting nuclear medicine studies

• Knowledge of safety procedures in handling and administering radiopharmaceuticals

• Excellent attention to detail and patient care orientation

• Adaptability and strong communication skills for working with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols

• Obtain high-quality nuclear medicine images to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning

• Ensure patient safety before, during, and after imaging procedures

• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed

• Strictly adhere to regulatory standards and infection control procedures

• Accurately document patient records and imaging results

$2,420 - $2,560/Week
Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
