Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging

Adventist Health seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams in a faith-based, mission-driven environment. This part-time, variable shift role prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, operates gamma cameras, and produces high-quality images for physician interpretation while following rigorous radiation safety and infection control standards. Responsibilities
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures following physician orders and safety protocols
• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals using strict radiation safety practices
• Operate and troubleshoot gamma cameras and related imaging equipment
• Verify patient identity, obtain history, and explain procedures with compassion and clarity
• Monitor patients during and after procedures, responding to adverse reactions
• Process and analyze images, ensuring diagnostic quality for physician interpretation
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and quality control logs
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Adhere to regulatory, infection control, and radiation safety standards
• Support Adventist Health's faith-based mission and participate in ongoing education
