Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Responsibilities
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with prescribed protocols.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform patient imaging procedures such as PET/CT scans using gamma cameras.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in handling radioactive materials.
• Maintain precise records of radioactive materials usage and patient treatment records.
• Provide patient care and education regarding the procedure to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to interpret scan results and determine further medical actions.
